This look is one I threw together quickly. I was looking for something boss babe appropriate but with a feminine edge. I have had this dress for a few years and have styled it for a halloween costume down to a night out look but never an office chic look!
Since the dress has a lot of drama on the bottom I decided to stick with a structured blazer to give it some shape. For the fun details I added a statement necklace and belt to add the glam. At this point the outfit is busy so I opted for simple understated pumps to keep the look balanced and professional.
I love how easily this look can go from day to night simply by removing the blazer and adding a strappy black pump and clutch! Would you believe that this dress was from Kohls? Me either, I am a huge fan of Lauren Conrad's Runway line she releases, I highly recommend checking it out for fun pieces that don't break the bank!
Happy Sunday and I apologize for the late post my laptop decided to die a horrible death!
