I am so excited to share with you my thoughts on Lularoe and how I styled a comfortable dress that is perfect for work or just running around on the weekends.
A few weeks ago I partnered with Becca (follow her here, or here) to do a post about a Lularoe dress! I have never bought anything from this company and my knowledge is pretty limited with the exception of having a preconceived idea that they just made fun printed leggings.
So what exactly are my thoughts? Well, the sizing is a little funny but I can't complain being able to fit in a size Small is pretty amazing, but normally I am a medium so the dress I got (Nicole) runs big. There are so many prints and styles it makes it hard to pick just one. Now I get why so many girls have so many Lularoe pieces.
My first impression of the dress was that it seemed well made. The stitching was good and the fabric seemed quality enough. The dress was rather simple in its design, but I think that's what makes it fun to dress up or down. What I love most about the dress is that I wore this in the car for 2+ hours and it didn't wrinkle or feel uncomfortable. It was the perfect travel dress, and would be a must have for a vacation.
I decided to dress up my look with accessories, so I added a tan wrap belt to hide the seam at my waist and then added a fun heel and clutch to tie it all together. This look was dressy enough for dinner and would also be a good work dress.
So all in all I am loving this dress, I will be curious to see how it holds up after washing it a few times, but the tag directions indicate you shouldn't dry it (something to note.) The retail price on most of this style of dress is $48.00, not sure if I am 100% convinced of this price and quality but for the comfort and ease of it I am sort of okay with it.
Have you tried Lularoe? What are your thoughts?
A huge thank you to Becca for sending me this amazing dress to try!
