Thred Up!

Having to wear business attire 4 days out of the week has made me beef up my work wear game (I sort of miss my days of yoga pants and t-shirts).  I always try to buy pieces that can transition to work and play but that also don't break the bank.  Recently I decided to give Thred Up a try and now I am kicking myself for not jumping on the bandwagon sooner.  

At first glance I didn't really find a whole lot that I just "had to have", but according to their site they add styles constantly so I downloaded the app and started to check it periodically.  My tactics paid off and my first purchase was a brand new with tags pair of silvery-glittered Manolo Blahnik heels for under $75.00!  I looked them up online and found that they were originally sold at Neiman's for close to $700.00 only a season ago!  Talk about a killer score!  This got me hooked.

Now that I am a Thred Up fanatic I have slowly added some great sale finds to my work wardrobe.  For todays post I wanted to style a fun look that was appropriate for the office but could also transition into play for a dinner or drinks.  The best part the skirt and shoes are both from Thred Up and were brand new with tags... Can you believe that I scored these red Elizabeth and James heels for $25.00?  Or this Eliza J skirt for $33.00?  I was pretty shocked too!  To keep this look under $100 I added my button down from Old Navy and my trusty Ada belt that I picked up a few years ago on mega sale (like $15.00 SALE).  I love the pop of color and all the different textures!
