It finally feels like fall.... haha no it doesn't I live in Texas-it's still in the 80's! This outfit might make you think that it has been in the low 60's but in all actuality the only thing 60's in this photo is this
boho look!
I am over the moon about this dress that I picked up at TJ Maxx for a mere $24.99! I almost let it get away but at the last minute I decided to buy it, and boy am I glad I did! This exact style dress but in the larger floral print is selling for $69.00 at Nordstrom, and to be honest I like the print of mine better! For that retro feel I added my over the knee boots, faux fur vest, and layered baubles.
I have worn this exact look almost 3 times now and I cannot tell you how many compliments I get every time. Sometimes I love how seamlessly an outfit comes together and will wear it on repeat until I can come up with some new ways to style the pieces (or someone calls me out on it). Because lets me honest when you nail an outfit you want to continue to rock it!
So I do have to talk a little bit about this bracelet. As you probably are aware I am a brand ambassador for James Avery, I have been a huge fan of James Avery since receiving my first charm as a child. One of my favorite things about this company besides being christian based is how you can add a personal touch with engraving. It has been no secret that 2016 has been a really rough year for me, probably one of my worst years to date but as I reflect on it I can see how far I have come and grown. I wanted to personalize something with a reminder and when I saw this bracelet from their fall release I knew exactly what I wanted!!
I decided to have the date that I started my first career after graduating college engraved. It is a reminder that I finished school all on my own and took a risk and moved to Dallas to start a career in a field that I knew nothing about. A job where I was at a major disadvantage in comparison to my coworkers. It also happens to be the day that I met Ryan- and yes it was love at first sight for me. He has been my rock this year... without his love and support I would have never made it through my low points. I have only had it a week since getting it back from it being engraved and I haven't taken it off. Anytime I question myself or any choice I question, I look at my bracelet and it reminds me that I have made it this far and that I have so much more to accomplish.
Below are links to recreate this look if you love it as much as me!! Happy Monday Everyone!!
