So another day another dress! I wanted to go with an elegant white midi today and a pair of cute lace up sandals, however about 5 minutes before I was about to head out the door I spilt my morning tea
all down the front of me (luckily just my top half)! Nothing like a stark white dress with brown stains down the front to ruin your outfit game plan!
I really didn't have the time to change my entire look so I opted to "hide" my stain. How did I do that you ask? Well, I grabbed the first button down in my closet that looked the least wrinkled, cuffed the sleeves and tied it at the waist. Instantly my simple white dress went to "hey sailor"! So in the spirit of things I decided to go with the nautical theme, you know I love my nautical looks. I quickly changed into my red boat shoes and threw on a red coral necklace that I had hanging in my design studio!
I was sort of skeptical of this look but with the clock ticking I didn't have much time to think about it. Now fast forward to a few hours later and by the time I have hit the grocery store I have officially been told like 8 times how cute my "team USA" outfit is! So bam my little accident this morning turned into an Olympics themed outfit! I may not have had an actual Olympics party to attend but my outfit sure made me feel right at home cheering on team USA!
