So Day 3 here, and I might have lost my mind... A cargo trench and a floral dress??? How can these two things go together? Well, technically I guess they don't but that's sort of the beauty in fashion right, breaking the rules! What I love most about this outfit is that I gave life to two things in my
closet that I normally wouldn't pair together to create a fun unique look. The outfit is interesting while still being playful.
Besides the look being unique I also love how affordable it all is (except the bag, but that was a gift so doesn't count). I still can't believe this trench is from Target! That Who What Wear collection is on POINT!
I am all about finding affordable fashions and tend to gravitate towards cute boutiques. If you love shopping local boutiques like me first off head to Liz and Honey, and then second head to Longhorn Fashions, that is where this pretty little floral dress is from! As a die hard longhorn fan this boutique is a one stop shop for game day, but it also has some pretty cute little extras for the non-longhorn. I think this exact dress is sold out but I linked it in another color below! The owner is super sweet and she has a great eye for fashion!
As always outfit details below!
Trying to sneak a peek in my sorority sisters house.. I don't think she was home! |
I love this picture because I am laughing at my photographer Ryan! |
I'm a flasher...jk! |
// Dress: Longhorn Fashions (sold out), same dress in pink, cobalt // Trench: Who What Wear for Target (sold out), similar // Purse: 3.1 Phillip Lim // shoes: Dior (really old), but I just ordered these for $14.00 and they would rock with this look // Jewelry: Tiffany and Co Charm Bracelet, James Avery Necklace, House of Harlow 1960 necklace (in pink)
Happy Hump Day Fashionistas!!
