Maxi Monday

I hope that everyone had a great weekend and that you are all ready to start this week!  Our weekend was full of relaxing and watching football.  Saturday morning we got up and took baby Ava to the dog park then came back and watched Texas pull off a win against OU and Baylor beat the heck out of Kansas!  I was so glad that we both got to cheer on our winning teams!  

Sunday was another lazy day, Ryan watched more football and I binge watched movies in bed with my kitty Brazos until my mom arrived.   She was in town for work so we got to go and have dinner with her once her flight landed!  Since my parents live so far away I don't get to see them but a few times a year, so any chance that I can get to see them I will totally take!  We ate Mexican and got to catch up a little bit, and she brought CANDY!!

I wanted to go super easy with my outfit for dinner and decided on this flowing Maxi.  I kept it simple with one necklace and understated makeup.  If you know me then you know I hardly ever go easy on the makeup., unfortunately I don't have the best skin so I always feel like I HAVE to wear something.  My routine for an easy look is tinted moisturizer, setting powder, blush, a bit of eyeshadow and my favorite mascara from Tarte!  Just enough to have a face but also look natural.  Plus it only takes me about 5 min to do it!!!
