Sweater Weather

So how many of you are surprised to see me in these shorts? I swear my daily uniform is Dresses, Dresses, the occasional skirt, and the business suit (only because I have to). I have no idea why I dislike wearing shorts/ pants but I just do, it’s weird I know.

This week I had dinner plans with a dear friend of mine. Unfortunately my schedule is always very busy so I had work, gym, and then 45 min to get from the gym to my house and then to dinner. Since I was in a time crunch I needed a low key outfit. After a quick rinse in the shower some makeup and hair touch ups I opted for these cuffed shorts and this oversized sweater. I am sure you are scratching your head at wearing a sweater in the middle of July and in Texas, but just because it’s 100+ outside doesn’t mean that the restaurant isn’t going to be subzero! I love the bright color of this sweater too. It is actually a size large perfect for draping off the shoulder.

I honestly love this outfit and how casual it is. Even Ryan commented on it, probably because it was out of my norm! Anyway Happy Friday!
