So how many of you are surprised to see me in these shorts? I swear my daily uniform is Dresses, Dresses, the occasional skirt, and the business suit (only because I have to). I have no idea why I dislike wearing shorts/ pants but I just do, it’s weird I know.

Another Monday Funday! I am in love with this little outfit, so much so I have worn it twice in a week weekend. I am a sucker for any type of eyelet dress and this one just happens to be 40% off right now. I purchased it a while back when I had to return some work pants that didn’t fit and I was only able to get store credit, but I just saw it online for 54.00! Much better than the 90.00 price tag! I am pretty sure it’s cheaper in the store, but size selection may be limited.

Ok, first I want to apologize for the picture quality... not my best and not Ryan's fault.  The sun was out in full force and in every photo I'm making weird wincy faces or standing behind this tiny tree.  But I really wanted to share this dress that I have had forever and a day, because lets be honest it's really colorful like everything else I own.

First off this dress is on SALE...  I should have posted it earlier because it was on clearance for 33.98 (in store), yes you read that right UNDER 35.00 but only for a limited time (Dillard's was running an additional 30% off clearance)!  Any dress that has a built in petticoat and pockets is a win in my book!  The perfect fit and some big flare is all I need in a dress, the color scheme is an added perk even if it is like a pack of highlighters (according to my boss).  I think the biggest reason I love these dresses is seriously that they flatter everyone.  I mean they cinch in your waist and flare at just the right spot (wether you don't like your tummy or maybe you feel like you have too much hip) instantly boosting your confidence and making you feel pretty.  For my look I added some barbie pink pumps and my trusty bag to finish off this feminine number.

Another weekend gone and I am sure going to miss it!  I hope everyone had a great 4^th of July filled with fun and fireworks!  I know that our weekend was jam packed with firework shows, food, and a visit to the “One Nasty” for some karaoke and shuffle board with our best friends and new friends!

Today I wanted to share a little bit of my 4^th of July style, and my obsession with this red howlite necklace I made just for the weekend!  I am always looking for an excuse to rock the red white and blue, maybe it's the Delta Gamma in me or that I secretly wish to live by the sea and dress as nautical as possible!  I tried to link as many pieces to recreate my outfits if you like these looks as well, also most of my simple dresses from Old Navy are on MAJOR SALE and even more marked down if you buy online!!!
